Last updated: October 10, 2026

By using PDFTools you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

The service

PDFTools provides free online utilities (merge, split, compress, images-to-PDF, rotate and page numbers) that run entirely in your browser. No account is required.

Acceptable use

• Use the tools only for lawful purposes and only with files you have the right to process.
• Don't attempt to disrupt the site, probe its infrastructure, or misrepresent the service.
• Don't use the tools to process unlawful content.

Your files

Processing happens locally on your device; we never receive your files. You are responsible for keeping backups of your originals before processing.

No warranties

The tools are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we aim for correct results, we don't guarantee that output files will be perfect for every input — please verify important documents before relying on them.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PDFTools is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the site, including data loss. Your use of the tools is at your own risk.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of the site after changes means you accept the new terms.
